Event Overview
Techtextil India - International Trade fair for Technical Textiles and Nonwovens

In the present scenario, technical textiles have been identified as a potential area for upgrading the Indian textile industry. Since the conventional textiles industry has reached a level of saturation in terms of development, innovation and value-addition, technical textiles offer a great opportunity to succeed in the post WTO scenario.

Messe Frankfurt proudly announces the third edition of Techtextil India after its highly successful previous editions in 2007 & 2009. Despite the current economic situation, the third Techtextil India - International Trade Fair for Technical Textiles and Nonwovens, looks promising due to the participation of several esteemed domestic & international companies and associations. Techtextil India is officially supported by the Office of the Textile Commissioner, Ministry of Textiles, Government of India along with the Indian Technical Textiles Association.

The outstanding ratings given by exhibitors and visitors on the business quality of the fair in India at the last event in 2009, confirm that Techtextil India is the only high quality platform in India for international companies to meet the Indian market and do serious business.

India having a large pool of skilled, scientific and technical manpower, it can play a major role in shaping the future of this industry. Development of new fibers and technologies has led to the creation of new applications of technical textiles, which is bound to enlarge the market size and offer opportunities for high growth.
