BTRA plasma treating machine

The Bombay Textile Research Association (BTRA) has installed an Atmospheric Pressure Plasma Treating Machine (Laboratory Model) for textiles. Its salient features are as follows:

  • Materials such as fabric, nonwovens, polymer films, linings are treated in continuous length.
  • Roll to roll treatment is possible.
  • Up to 50 cm width of materials is treated.
  • Gases used are Helium, Oxygen, Argon and Nitrogen.
  • Treatment conditions are being optimised.
