WITH more than 1,500 installations in operation in India, Knotex is the most widely used Beam Knotting Machine in India over the years. Suitable for natural and synthetic fibres and their blends in single or ply yarns, high or low, twist and stretch yarns, a maximum speed of 600 knots/minute steplessly adjustable is achievable. It is available with or without lease for all four possible tying methods. Electronic knot counter with a LCD display and controlled thread-clip for tying different yarn counts in the same warp are the other features. Quattro Technology -- The warp tying machines with the four-in-one unit S/2 -- Very fine to medium warp yarns; XS/2 -- Medium to extremely coarse yarns. It is a warp tying machine with only one tying unit capable of all four tying methods. Salient features are: Double thread selector and fault indication when tying from a lease; Automatic speed reduction in case of non-selection of a thread; Knot tails adjustable between 4 mm – 40 mm; Fully enclosed housing, entailing very little maintenance. Yarn Break Detector: A new development to monitor the tying process. If a faulty knot formation is detected, the machine stops and indicates the fault on the LCD control lamp. Optima/Speed constantly evaluates and processes all the requisite parameters (actual speed, quality of thread pick-up, stability of the warp, clumps, etc) with the aim of maximising the speed for the specific material. Completely automatic, this reliable and precise process takes place without interruption. Available with the Knotex Knot Control®/2. Knotex Knot Control®/2 -- The first warp tying machine in the world with electronic microprocessor controlled program for controlling repeats and specially marked threads, having a memory for 1,000 repeats and PC interface facility. KNOTEX DlsPos® -- (Digital Inquiry and Spare Parts Order System). A Digital Spare Parts Catalogue with drawings and an instruction manual for assembly and maintenance of the machine on a CD ROM. MODULAR DESIGN -- The only warp tying machine available in a modular design which allows an easy access to each individual part for better maintenance. FRAMES - Tying frames are available from 70 cm (miniature) up to 560 cm in a single width. The most sturdy and easily operational tying frames. The frames are also available with a platform/stepboard for raised warp beams. Twin Frames are also available to reduce the downtime by almost 50% for the wider width. The twin frames can also be used individually as single frames due to a flexible detachable coupling. The new Knotex machines are now more compact and lighter in weight. RSD/2 -- the knotting machine with the unique capability of functioning as a Single Knot Machine and a Double Knot Machine at the simple flick of a lever without changing any parts. It has a maximum tying speed of 500 knots/minute. TS/2 Tape master -- A new development launched at the ITMA 2003 in Birmingham. A machine suitable for tying low density warps such as Polypropylene (PP) and Polyethylene (PE) tapes.
