Dyneema® can be incorporated in fabrics to meet demanding specifications in a wide range of applications. The exceptional strength and light weight of Dyneema® fibres allow for the manufacturing of ropes with very special characteristics. The strength of Dyneema® results in a smaller twine diameter and therefore in lighter, stronger, and more efficient nets. Successful applications of Dyneema® in netting include trawl nets, aquaculture nets, and purse seine nets used in commercial fishing industry, safety nets used in the construction industry, as well as cargo nets used in the transport/logistic sector. The Dyneema® grades used for nets are typically SK62 and SK75.
