Textilcolour reducing & finishing agents

TEXTILcolour, Switzerland offers Bioredukt TOP-NS, which is an environmental-friendly, liquid, direct dosable reducing agent for the reductive clearing of disperse dyed and printed fabrics on polyester. Thanks to the combination of strong reducing and excellent dispersing power highest rubbing- and washing fastness levels will be achieved. Unfixed dyestuffs will be removed from the fibre and dispersed in the treatment bath.

Bioredukt TOP-NS is nitrogen- and sulphur-free and therefore particularly environmentally friendly. The product is low-foaming, odourless and suitable for all jets. The reductive clearing is made in alkaline conditions at 75 - 85°C.

Finishing agent: Textilcolour also offers Seventin YEL, which is a finishing agent to prevent yellowing of polyamide and its blend with elastane by phenolic antioxidants during storage. Packaging materials often contain phenolic antioxidants to avoid ageing damages. However, these phenols are volatile and can easily be absorbed from the textile and lead to yellowing. Due to blockage of the amino end groups of the polyamide by Seventin YEL the absorption of the phenols is prevented. White fabrics remain white and there is no change of shade for pastel colours. The application liquors are set at pH 3 with citric acid, the pH of the finished material should be at 6 - 7.
