Special Review - ITMA Innovation
CHT's solution for high-tech textiles among wide auxiliary range

"UNIQUE IDEAS. UNIQUE SOLUTIONS" was shown by CHT Group at the world's largest international textile machinery exhibition in Hall B1. The innovative system provider presented a broad range of textile auxiliaries and textile dyes with product solutions for fibres up to high-tech textiles. The service range includes tailor-made system solutions, exactly adapted to respective production processes.

For CHT Group entire textile competence means much more than just presenting new products and procedures. Costs of production and finishing of textiles has been increasing within the last few years, at the same time shortage of resources means a new challenge for processing technology and product development. CHT Group is rising to the present challenges which textile producers have to face all over the world and is working out economic and ecological solutions for the future.

With iFlash® CHT developed an innovative system optimising discontinuous processes in the pre-treatment and dyeing of cellulosic fibres resulting in economic advantages without the need of additional investments. Shorter process times and cycles help to save valuable resources like water and energy and costs can be reduced by up to 15%.

With the BEMACRON HP-LTD brand, BEZEMA produces high-performance disperse dyes for low temperature dyeing on PES and elastane blends. This new development provides for highest wet fastnesses at particularly low dyeing temperatures and allows to reduce energy consumption during the dyeing process and as consequence a real saving of costs.

With iFlash® and BEMACRON HP-LTD, CHT Group does not only demonstrate its competence to cover the entire textile chain as system provider, but also its capability in thinking further in every single process step.

With TUBICOAT MEA, CHT Group offers an effective protection against liquid or red-hot metal. The sophisticated coating had been developed specifically for protective workwear. Based on a ceramic coating of extremely fine particles TUBICOAT MEA can not only be applied on fibres like Aramide, it even has a durable flame retardant effect on cotton. This durable and wash resistant coating makes workwear fulfil highest safety demands and has a very agreeable wearing comfort.

The development of the iSys system enables the first successful transfer of the nanotechnological sol gel process on textiles. iSys MTX builds, as active component, an inorganic-organic network on the textile surface. Together with iSys AG it performs a durable protection against bacteria. iSys MTX holds the leading position of functional finishings for technical and medical applications of textiles as well as work and sports wear.

CHT R Beitlich GmbH in Tuebingen, the centre of excellence of the CHT Group, has been engaged in the development and distribution of auxiliaries for textile finishing for more than 50 years.

To round off the product range, CHT Group also has dyestuffs with the trademark name BEZEMA. These are finished and marketed all over the world by the Swiss CHT affiliate holding the same name. CHT Group has own production and marketing locations in 22 affiliates throughout the world and was able to realise consolidated sales of 282 million EURO in 2006 with about 1,600 employees.
