Sahm Winders + Systems, Member of the Starlinger Group, Austria launched new winders for carbon fibres. Starlinger Export is its India liaison office located in New Delhi.

SML Maschinengesellschaft mbH with its head office in Lenzing, Austria is specialised in building high-performance extrusion equipment based on 40 years of experience.

Strahm Hi-Tex Systems AG< switzerland is the worldwide leading supplier of machines and production lines for the nonwovens industry and the textile finishing industry.

The family business of Thies, founded in 1892 by Bernhard Thies, is today a leader in dyeing and it offers its Research Dyehouse facility to customers and interested textile companies.

Mr Alan Little, Director of British Textile Machinery Association (BTMA) with his team at the association enclosure in ITMA. Nearly 50 exhibitors from the Great Britain showed their state-of-the-art for the global textile industry.

Vandewiele Group of Belgium is a giant in carpet and velvet weaving machines. Under its umbrella are Bonas (electronic jacquards), ROJ (feeders and accumulators), IRO (advanced knitting technology), Titan (finishing machinery) and Griffith (special purpose machinery).

Dr Lukas Sigrist, Secretary General of Swiss Textile Machinery, Swissmem is happy that nearly 80 exhibitors have been euphoric over the response from the visitors at the ITMA 2007. He sees further boom in the Asian market for textiles.

Vetal, Coimbatore in Hall A6 introduced its new variant of cotton contamination cleaning machine, improved version of metal detector and diverter and standard fire diversion system.

Ms Carmina Castella, Director of Amtex (AMEC), the association for Spanish textile machinery industry, is excited while recounting the steady growth of the Spanish machinery industry in the global arena. The fact that the next ITMA 2011 is going to be held in Barcelona in Spain has lent renewed interest to her sentiments.
