Special Review - ITMA Innovation
Rectangular cans for automated mills

New rectangular cans for completely automated spinning mills and other new products were presented by Hermann Vogt GmbH & Co KG from Reutlingen at the ITMA 2007. The semi-assembled form of the cans is due to the altered requirements for spinning mills.

Hermann Vogt GmbH & Co KG, who is a manufacturer of stamping and bending parts for the automobile and textile machinery industry. The firm's division "accessories for the textile industry" produces approximately 90% for the export, mainly for the Asian market. The company has 110 employees at its company site in Reutlingen (Germany). More than 25 agencies of the Vogt company sell their products all over the world.

Spinning cans, spring bottoms for spinning cans and special springs are used by all well-known producers of spinning machines and their customers. At the ITMA fair, Vogt showed the well-established round spinning cans as well as rectangular cans for the completely automated spinning mills and also cans and springs for special applications. Due to the long itineraries and the high costs for the transport, Vogt delivers the spinning cans in a semi-assembled form. The assembling of the cans is then made on site. The range of products is completed by specially coloured cans. The translucent colour of the cans help to distinguish different kind of yarn.
