Special Review - ITMA Innovation
6 new machines among 12 SSM exhibits

6 new machines among 12 SSM exhibits The fact that ITMA has given a pace for progress and innovation in textile machinery developments remains a dominant factor for the 2007 event. In that sense SSM, together with their subsidiary HACOBA, set an unprecedented milestone in showing new winding solutions. As a matter of fact, a range of stunning new products and technologies were launched at this ITMA event.

With 6 new product launches and a total of 12 machines on show, SSM and HACOBA have carefully selected a range of exhibits, which expanded their worldwide reputation for machines that add true value in yarn winding and processing.

6 new machines among 12 SSM exhibitsThanks to commitment to technological innovation, focused cooperation with best partners in the field and with industry leaders, SSM steps into the future with an aligned product portfolio so as to meet new customer's requirements.

The following applications of yarn processing and winding are on display:

o PSA single flex (braiding/embroidery)

Air textured yarns are today trendsetters because of their exceptional textile properties that can be increasingly focused into specialised application fields. Taking these facts into consideration, the TW2-T DIGICONE® preciflex™ allows the build of individual customised texturing processes with adapted heating and drawing treatments for tenacity and uniform dimension stabilities in fabrics.

Due to microfilament influence, the handle of air textured fabrics are becoming softer and market growth nowadays also concerns fine textile fabrics with finer yarns for woven or knitted textile products. The TW2-T concept is based on these market needs and enables production of low count air textured yarns with emphasis on quality and economics. SSM offers customers the opportunity to build their own TW2-T versions with choices between -- heated godets, cold godets, draw elements and set heaters as individual solutions for new investments. With the integration of SSM's high precision winding DIGICONE® preciflex™ into this air texturing machine for fine yarn counts, package density consistence without patterning is assured and dye packages can be directly wound on dye tubes without any intermediate rewinding process.

The TW2-T can be delivered with an Elastane feeder device for elastic air textured products, effect yarns can be created by the SSM's fancy flex system on TW2-T DIGICONE® preciflex™.
