Tex-Tech's high production retrofits for combers

Tex-Tech Industries, Coimbatore has made rapid strides in retrofit kits for combers. It has come out with a high production retrofit kit for E 7/4 & Lk250 Combers. By installing the Hi-production Retrofit Kit the production rate of E7/4 Comber can be increased to 575 - 600 kg per day without sacrificing the existing yarn quality levels.

This Hi-production Retrofit kit can also achieve a noil saving of 1.5-2 % at existing quality levels. The Hi-production Retrofit kit consists of noil saving Nippers (E65 type), modified detaching loading system, modified drawbox loading system and hi-speed Gear box kit.

The benefits are:

. 20 - 25% increase in production rates.
. 1.5 - 2% noil saving for existing production rates.
. 10 - 15% improvement in imperfection levels and Classimat.
. Lower nep levels due to modified nipper geometry.
. Enhanced nipper life due to improved construction.
. Consistency in U%.
. Shortest payback.

Tex-Tech Industries has also launched a Hi-production Retrofit Kit (E60 type) for Rieter E 7/5 & E 7/6 Combers. By installing the Hi-production Retrofit Kit, the production rate of E7/5 and E7/6 Comber can be increased by 15-20 %. The speed of the comber is increased to 350 nips along with an increase in lap weight to 75g. This Hi-production Retrofit Kit can also achieve a noil saving of 1.5-2 % at the existing quality levels. The Hi-production Retrofit Kit consists of noil saving E60 Nippers, modified detaching loading, swivelling lever, connecting rods, lap tension plates and LP bridge.

Tex-Tech Industries product range includes: Mexican fibre brush with ABS base, anti-loading top comb strips, Mirra unicombs, Eratcetal spools, automatic top comb cleaning systems, nipper assemblies and spares for well-known combers.

Tex-Tech Industries (India) Private Limited, was started in the year 1975 as a Partnership Company by Mr S Srinivasan for manufacture of Nipper assemblies for Rieter E7, E7/2 and E7/4 Combers. It was the first company in the world to introduce the technology of reconditioning Nipper assemblies.

During 1985, Mr S Malligarjunan a qualified Engineer and second son of Mr S Srinivasan joined as a partner. During this period Tex-Tech developed all special purpose machines for mass production of Nipper assemblies and spares for Combers.

In 1995 Tex-Tech developed Aluminum Alloy Nipper assemblies and critical spares for Rieter E7/5 and E7/6 combers. During this period it also successfully introduced the concept of Automatic Top Comb Cleaning System by means of blowing of air intermittently on the top comb strips.

In 1997, Tex-Tech developed Retrofit Noil Saving Conversion kit for upgrading the LR E7/4 and LK250 combers to the latest Rieter E60 type. This high performance Nipper kit with modified nipper geometry ensured saving of 1.5-2% Noils without deterioration in yarn imperfection and CSP levels.

In 1998 Tex-Tech came out with Modified Detaching Loading System as in Rieter E60 for converting the indirect type pneumatic loading of Detaching Top Rollers in LR E7/4 & LK 250 combers to direct loading type. This resulted in lower U% levels and also reduction in autoconer cuts. Tex-Tech has also developed Modified Spring Loading System for Draw Box along with Single Coiler Conversion Kit for LR E7/4 Combers. This has resulted in reduction yarn CV% and U%.

Tex-Tech was the first to introduce Mexican Fibre Brushes made of ABS base with Stainless Steel wires. Tex-Tech was the first to develop the Metalon Lap Spools. Tex-Tech carriers stocks of all spares for modern combers and serves the Textile Industry by immediate supply at competitive rates.

Tex-Tech is always on the look out for present day technology for upgrading earlier generation machines. From a modest beginning it has grown to a medium scale industry with latest state-of-the-art CNC Machining Centres. Tex-Tech will continue to expand and enrich its range of products responding to customers requirements in this age of technological innovations.

Tex-Tech has agents for all the states with in India. It has also agent in countries like Egypt, Turkey, Vietnam, Indonesia, Peru, Argentina, Brazil, Italy, Spain and other countries to cater to global demands.
