Gayatri healds, reeds & drop wires

Gayatri Reed Mfg Co, Surat came into existence in 1982, and made its headway in reeds manufacturing industry with a single unit. With positive mind set for quality management, there was no looking back, resulting in an overwhelming response and admiration from the industry. Riding over this reputation and success for nearly two decades, it was time to segregate its functioning for proper and efficient management, which resulted in the birth of Gayatri Group of Industries.

To keep pace with the ever growing needs of the weaving Industry and introduction off new fabric, it took immediate measures to modernise its manufacturing units and process. Having the best of production machinery and backed up well by equally qualified personnel were the real assets that any company would have been proud of. This perseverance and dedication paid off when the company was awarded with an ISO 9002 certification.

Being confident of its unmatched quality and perfectly backed services, the group now promoted a company by the name of ' Gayatri Exports', which deals with marketing of the products manufactured and supplied by the Group companies for international market. It is engaged in export of textile accessories like healds, reeds and other weaving products.

Wire healds:

The company offers various types of healds made from high carbon steel wire. The centre eyes may be of twisted inserted type with end loops -- oblong, round, jacquard or open type. The healds are specially coated with tin at the edge, ie, reinforced for providing more durability of healds. Threaded eye is specially designed at angle of 45 to ensure long life. Wire healds with twisted inserted eyes are also available in different sizes and can be designed and manufactured as per specification or sample.

This heald is manufactured with original mail eyes from Bracker AG, Switzerland. These mail eyes are absolutely without sharp edges that keep the running of the yarn and knots without any friction, which minimises the yarn breakages and serve smooth and quality weave.

Flat steel healds: These are made from high carbon steel strip. The threaded eye is made super smooth and polished for easy & perfect weaving of fabric. Simplex and Duplex type flat steel healds are supplied with threaded eye in centre and off-centre as per requirement of the customer. It also offers special or any other type of heald as per specification or sample.

Heald for narrow fabrics: These healds are made from high quality hardened and tempered high carbon steel strip. Extraordinary care and precise polish, guarantees the perfect smoothness of the healds functional, part, ie, threaded eye. It offers special type of healds as per sample or specification.

Riderless flat heald:

It offers a wide range of riderless flat healds for modern machine ensuring accurate weaving. The riderless flat healds are mainly identified by their end loops:

§ "J" shaped ends are suitable for heald carrying rods of size 16 x 2.1 mm.
§ "C" shaped ends are suitable for heald carrying rods of size 122 x 1.7mm.

The performance of heald is largely dependent upon the quality of material and their super finishing. These healds are made from first quality -- high carbon steel strip.

These healds are quite suitable for high speed machines without any breakages or yarn abrasion. It can also supply healds with important steel (Stainless Steel) strips as per the specification or sample.

Reeds for metallic cloth:

These reeds are made from the best quality flattened wire material in mild steel, high carbon steel, stainless steel (AISI430, AISI316) in wire width ranges from 2 mm to 4 mm. These reeds are bonded with special resins for providing better strength, flexibility and uniformity. Such types of reeds are used for metallic cloth and screen-printing fabrics.

Other range includes double reeds, reeds for Sulzer Machine, reed for rapier machines, reeds for water-jet machines, reeds for weaving preparation, and reeds for narrow fabric & label weaving.

The company also manufactures drop wires from hardened & tempered high carbon steel strips. All drop wires are inspected for the edges and specially working part for roundness and polishness. The drop wires are suitable for electrical warp stop motion and mechanical wrap stop motion.

Bad Times Call for Tough Moves

Despite the crises gripping the world economy in all kinds of forms, the Indian Government has been reassuring the industry that the country will not be affected. This brings hardly any relief to the industry in general.
