Permalon nylon flat transmission belts

Design engineer today has a wide choice of drive belts to select from. Over the recent years Nylon Core Flat Transmission Belt has emerged as one of the most versatile and commonly used of all. The Nylon Transmission Belt finds wide range of applications in almost every type of industry, not merely because it offers simple and economical solution to most drive problems but mainly because it satisfies the exacting demands for higher speed power and performance by modern industry.

Nylon transmission belt is essentially a flat belt with high tensile strength nylon as a core, laminated on either or both sides with friction covers of chrome leather or synthetic elastomer or a combination. This simple belt construction conforms to requirements of an ideal power transmission belt having outstanding features and affording unmatched advantages.

LON main belt type groups are: elastomer friction coating on both sides; textile fabric on both sides; elastomer coating on driving side and textile fabric on outer side; chrome leather on both sides; chrome leather on driving side, textile fabric on outer side; chrome leather on driving side, elastomer coating on outer side; chrome leather on driving side, polyamide strip on outer side; elastomer friction coating on one side and cotton fabric on the other side.

Light power transmission, small pulley diameter drives and light conveying applications. Feeder, delivery tapes in paper printing industry, plastic bag making machines, laminating machines, grinding machines, business machines.

Light to medium mechanical load, one or both sides power transmission; high speed, low noise operation. Major applications in textile industry as tangential belt for texturising, crimping, TFO, OE spinning, twisting, doubling machines, paper processing machines.
