HEAL to unveil Truburst2

James H Heal & Co Ltd is set to unveil a wealth of creativity and design flair at ITMA 2007. Among the innovations to be displayed on Stand 145 will be Truburst2, a fully pneumatic and automatic Intelligent Bursting Strength Tester. Truburst2 exceeds the requirements of ISO 13938-2 and ASTM D3786-06 making it the clean, efficient and safer alternative compared with hydraulic tester.

TruBurst2 comes in two models: 810 and 801. With a maximum capacity of 1000kPa/145psi, Model 810 is suitable for the majority of textile specimens (including cyclic testing of elastomerics), as well as for many paper, board and similar materials.

However, there are many less resistant, more delicate materials (eg nonwovens, tissues and plastics), which require a lower capacity/higher resolution machine for successful and repeatable bursting strength tests. Model 801 has a maximum capacity of 100kPa/14.5psi and is ideal for these applications.

The display the stand will also include Gyrowash, an official AATCC testing instrument for evaluating the colour fastness, staining potential and durability of fabrics under accelerated wash conditions, according to AATCC Test Method 61. Gyrowash also complies with ISO 105 and conforms to the requirements of major European Retail Store Groups, including Marks & Spencer and Next.

You are all invited not only to savour Heal's inspiring portfolio of world-class Fabric and Colour Fastness Testing Instruments but to also book your free, 1 hour, no obligation consultancy session with Heals Technical Experts, who will give you valuable advice on laboratory design, appropriate tests for your products and buyers as well as suitable instrumentation and accessories to carry out these tests.
