| Stoll offers CMS generation plus more flexible software |

"My Stoll. My Future. Welcome to the Stoll Universe": With this motto Stoll will present the pioneering CMS machine generation at the ITMA 2007. New, even more flexible software applications from the area of Stoll Software Solutions and a brand new pattern collection developed especially for the trade fair will also be along for the ride on the journey into the future.
Visitors will experience a large number of innovative, highly productive flat knitting machines from the Compact, Multi Gauge and Knit&Wear class in operation at the trade fair. Collection pieces designed especially for the trade fair will be knit on all machines. And a machine from the so-called Economy Line, which is considered the entry-level model for the Stoll Compact or Multi Gauge class, will also be on display.
One of Stoll's focuses at the trade fair will be in the Stoll-multi gauges® segment. The extraordinary flexibility of this machine class will be presented with exemplary fabrics. In the process, various gauges and sophisticated pattern effects will be realised using one and the same machine with Stoll-multi gauges® - in one and the same fabric or with fabrics in various gauges.
Another major topic in Munich will be complete articles: With a large range of CMS machines, comprising ultra-coarse to super-fine qualities, pattern possibilities and economic efficiency in the production of complete articles will be impressively demonstrated with Stoll knit&wear®. For the production of fine-gauge complete articles, a CMS 730 S knit&wear with a new gauge will also be exhibited.
Another top topic of the trade fair at Stoll will be intarsia knitting. Stoll offers optimised intarsia yarn carriers (optional) for almost all models or gauges of the CMS machines generation. Their compact design enables an even closer yarn carrier staggering on a yarn carrier rail - resulting in even more colours within a certain fabric width.
As a practice-oriented solution for the plating inserts frequently required today, Stoll developed a new plating kit with special brackets and new yarn carriers that are even easier to adjust for the use of a broad range of yarns and applications. The large number of components of the Stoll Software Solutions will also continue to stand for simpler, more effective and more economical pattern creation and knitting processes in the future.
An extensive further development of the familiar M1 pattern software now offers even more options for the programmer to influence the results. The new pattern software supports the programmer with a wide variety of automatic functions that eliminate the need to program standard processes. However, new functions also enable the easy realisation of individual knitting cycles and techniques. Operation has also been further simplified with revised menus and operating elements.
As another highlight, software applications from the exclusive cooperation between Stoll and ENEAS Informatica Srl in the flat knitting area will be presented. The possibilities for linking the ENEAS software and the M1 offer new options in the areas of design, fabric simulation and presentation.
- Connectivity stands for the networking of the Stoll machines which, for example, makes it possible in conjunction with the new KnitLAN technology to control the machines and to enter operating and machine data centrally.
- The Stoll Machine Management Tools make the processes for all aspects of knitting more transparent and effective. The new Order Management Software enables, among other things, an automatic documentation and management of the knitting orders. The Stoll-knit report® 2 ensures precise monitoring and controlling of the machine pool, therefore offering a fast overview of the entire machine pool.
In addition, a new Stoll pattern collection featuring the latest trends is also being developed especially for the fair. New knitting techniques and applications in all common gauges using the latest trend yarns will also be presented.
