iQON, is the New Standard in Foreign
Fibre and White PP clearing. It is the first clearer to use a combination of
Visible light and InfraRed technology. The
Visible light is used to detect colour contamination such as Jute, Colour
fibre, etc. InfraRed technology is used to detect contamination that is of
the same colour as the parent yarn, but of a different material, eg, White
PP. iQON, has dedicated modules for the
function of Yarn Fault Clearing and Quality Monitoring. “Q Module”
monitors 100% of the production for parameters such as Imperfections, CVm%,
Hairiness, Periodic, Cluster faults etc,. The measuring principle adopted is
unique.
• Capacitance: For Mass fault clearing and
• Optical: For Foreign Fibre and White PP with Visible and InfraRed
technology. Unique and Innovative
features • White PP
Classification: Polypropylene, especially White PP that is presently posing
a great risk to the spinner is reliably detected with InfraRed technology.
Polypropylene is classified into 12 distinct classes which is unique to
iQON. The exclusive classification of Polypropylene together with the
Scatter diagram helps user to analyse and optimise the spinning process.
Besides classifying Polypropylene, iQON also classifies Foreign Fibre (25
classes), Mass (23 classes), and Splice (26 classes) faults. •
High Resolution: The high sampling resolution at 1mm length and 1% amplitude
ensures accurate yarn clearing.
• Classify & Clear: The basic concept adopted is a single process
which first classifies the fault and then clears. This enhances the
reliability of the system.
• Flexible Setting: User defined threshold for Neps from 1 to 10 mm
ensures greater flexibility while optimising the setting based on end use.
• Fine Curve Setting: Independent curve setting for N, S, L and T quickens
the process of setting optimisation.
• Zoom-in: This is an excellent tool, which enables one to visualise the
distribution of faults for accurate and quicker optimisation of clearing
curve. • Intelligent function: Avoids
erroneous operation by blocking the winding position, while there is a fluff
accumulation. Mill Results Independent
trials conducted by customers reveal that iQON detects significantly more
White PP compared to others. To
summarise, iQON with several “first of its kind” features and on-line
information, helps the user to optimise the previous process as well as to
maintain consistent out going yarn quality. iQON, is now available for
Murata 21C, Schlafhorst AC5 and Savio Orion / Polar/ Espero and VeeJay
Excello.
