Weighting Arms, Top Rollers, Cradles & more from SKF

It was in 1907 that Sven Wingquist, founder of SKF worldwide, invented the world's first self-aligning ball bearing for use in the textile industry. Ever since, SKF has been known in the industry for its pioneering work in the field of bearings. Products from SKF continue to set standards in quality and reliability for others to follow.

SKF world over has been actively involved in the service of the Machinery Industry ever since those early years of the Twentieth Century. Innovative design, latest technology, reliable operation, serviceability and user-friendliness are some phrases that sum up the product quality and performance that it delivers.

SKF's Weighting Arms, Top Rollers and Cradles form an integral part of most machinery manufactured in India and overseas for many decades now. The bearing was designed to meet the demand for both top rollers and bottom rollers in speed frames & ring frames.

Millions of spindles equipped with SKF Spindle Inserts and Drafting Systems are in operation all over the world, proof of the capabilities and popularity of these components. In India, SKF started its textile and bearing manufacturing business in the 1960s from its factory based in Pune. Bangalore is the other manufacturing site for bearings and seals.

SKF has always believed in not just meeting but exceeding customer expectations of product quality and delivery at affordable prices. The Indian arm is no exception. Today, the Textile Business Unit (TBU) under SKF India Ltd is the only such unit across the globe, and ensures a sharp focus on the industry's needs here. The TBU has now restructured its entire product range – using customer feedback gathered over many years to develop products that address specific requirements of the Indian textile industry – and has a formidable presence in technology components and related services.
