As a leading company in the textile
machinery industry, Muratec adds value to its customers’ businesses in
five ways: Increasing their brand strength through “Quality”, increasing
competitiveness through “Productivity” and “Operability”, and
assisting the customers’ development through “Added Value” and
“Environmental Awareness”. These innovations support the strong growth
of India’s textile industry. In the 17
years since it first began focusing on the export of textile machinery to
the Indian market in 1991, Muratec has matched the expectations for quality
of textile products and functionality of textile machinery from its Indian
customers—some of the most demanding customers in the world. Through
meeting these expectations, Muratec has also been able to improve the
technical know-how and ability to provide the right assistance to each
customer. In 2007, Muratec established Murata Machinery India Private Ltd,
as a wholly owned subsidiary. Employing 45 highly-skilled personnel at its
offices in New Delhi, Mumbai and Coimbatore, it has been working towards
providing even faster, higher quality support to its customers. Muratec
- Murata Machinery Ltd, with “Muratec presents versatility and ease-of-use”
as its main theme, will be exhibiting in an area of 336 sq m at INDIA-ITME
2008, with the aim of joining with its customers to reach new heights. Demonstration

861 vortex spinning machine, 16 spindles
Vortex fabric has attracted a lot of attention from all over the world.
It is already widely acknowledged that textile products made with vortex
yarn possess excellent functionalities including pilling resistance and
crispness. Leading apparel manufacturers and spinning companies in Europe,
Japan, Korea and Latin America are currently working together to use vortex
yarn to develop differentiated products in order to open up new markets and
improve their brand strength. There is
only one spinning machine in the world capable of producing vortex yarn, and
that is the Muratec VORTEX 861 spinning machine. In addition to its unique
spinning mechanism, it comes equipped with a clearer, splicer and AD, and is
capable of spinning a wide variety of fibres, including cotton, polyester,
blended cotton/polyester or regenerated cellulosic fibres, directly from
sliver to packaging, thus creating high value-added vortex yarn. Three
processes—roving, fine spinning and winding—are provided by a single
unit, yet thanks to its unrivalled maximum spinning speed of 450 m/minute,
the VORTEX 861 also provides superior productivity, energy and space
savings, ease of quality assurance and production management. Vortex
products and spinning machinery meet the textile industry’s trend towards
high added value. At this exhibition, we will be demonstrating the vortex
spinning machine using regenerated cellulosic fibres, whose functionality
has attracted particular interest in recent years. Muratec will also be
demonstrating a polyester 65/cotton 35 yarn and displaying vortex products
sold around the world. 1) Viscose rayon
100%, Ne40, 4 degrees, 20 minutes.
2) Polyester 65%/cotton 35%, Ne40, 4 degrees, 20 minutes. 1)
Vortex spinning: With a maximum spinning speed of 450 m/minute, the VORTEX
861 is 20 times faster than ring spinning machines and three times faster
than OE spinning—an overwhelming speed advantage in spinning speed. 2)
Quality assurance: Constant quality assurance is provided by a digital
clearer (MSC) which monitors a wide range of data, combined with the large,
easy-to-see liquid crystal display of the data management system (VOS). Automatic
winder No: 21C PROCESS CONER Magazine Type, 12 spindles Since
its debut in 2001, "No: 21C" has become the top brand of automatic
winders, with a total shipment of over 4,00,000 units all over the world.
This high support rate, above all, proves the high versatility of No: 21C.
In this exhibition, it plans to demonstrate the winding of five types of
yarn, from medium-count regular yarn to fine-count compact yarn, as well as
soft-wound and Eli-Twist yarn. Muratec hopes that visitors will have a
chance to see for themselves the flexibility and versatility of its No: 21C,
which is in response to consumer tastes that are becoming increasingly
varied and demanding increased added value. 1)
Compact, Ne80, 5 degrees 57 minutes
High-quality packages can be produced while maximising the features of
fine-count compact yarn using the hairiness reduction system, Perla-A, and
Muratec’s winding control, Pac 21.
2) Eli-Twist yarn, Ne80/2, 5 degrees 57 minutes
Stable winding of speciality yarn is achieved using a water splicer and
Muratec's unique winding control, Pac21.
3) Cotton two-ply yarn, Ne80/2, 5 degrees 57 minutes
Stable winding of two-ply yarn is achieved using a water splicer and
Muratec's unique winding control, Pac21.
4) Cotton, Ne40, 5 degrees 57 minutes
High-quality packaging is provided by using the Perla-A hairiness-reducing
system and Muratec’s winding control, Pac21. When combined with the PLC21
optical yarn length sensing device, this ensures high-productivity of
packaged yarn with properly wound lengths.
5) Soft-wound cotton yarn, Ne40, 4 degrees 20 minutes dye package winding
Controlling the tension and contact pressure provides high-quality and
soft-wound packages. 1) Splicers:
Muratec will demonstrate three splicers for five types of yarn: An air
splicer and two types of water splicers, to splice five different types of
yarn. 2) High-speed and stable unwinding
of bobbins: High-quality packages can be achieved using Muratec's unique
balloon controller, Bal-Con, as well as the tension control, Tension
Manager, which takes advantage of Bal-Con. 3)
Stable unwinding of packages: Using Muratec’s own winding control, Pac 21,
packages are wound at a high performance for stable unwinding in the
down-stream processes. In addition, the PLC21 yarn length sensing device
provides efficient and accurate yarn length winding that eliminates waste. Automatic
winder No: 21C PROCESS CONER Link Coner Type, 8 spindles
--at the Lakshmi Machine Works booth, to be demonstrated in combination with
the LR63/AXL (Hall-3 Booth A107) Muratec’s
link coner is a tray-to-tray system that eliminates the need to replace
spinning bobbins, allowing the spinning machine to directly supply the
winder. Within the field of directly-linked spinning frames and winders,
Muratec’s link coner is particularly noted for its ability to improve
product quality and productivity. In this exhibition, India’s number one
spinning frame manufacturer, Lakshmi Machine Works, will display the link
coner operating in combination with their latest spinning frame, the
LR63/AXL. 1) Improved product quality:
Muratec’s unique tray-to-tray system eliminates the danger of damaging the
yarn supplied during transportation or handling. It also reduces the risk of
mixed yarn counts. 2) Space and manpower
savings: Compared to separate spinning frame and winding machine
combinations, No: 21C provides a 30% savings in floor space. Manual
transportation and handling is completely unnecessary, thereby requiring
less manpower to operate. 3) Lower
operating costs: No: 21C requires fewer peripheral accessories, such as
plastic tubing, bobbin boxes and transporter vehicles. 4)
Flexibility: It is a simple operation to change the yarn type on a single
spinning frame, making it easier to create manufacturing schedules and
manage processes. Two-for-One Twister
No: 3C1-S Muratec Twister As the
world faces increasingly serious issues in protecting the environment and
conserving resources, how to provide greater energy efficiency and how to
provide environmentally-friendly manufacturing has become one of the most
serious concerns facing the textile industry.
The two-for-one twister on display at this exhibition combines the smallest
carbon footprint in its class with highly energy-efficient small-diameter
spindles. Spindles with a diameter of 108 mm can reduce energy consumption
by as much as 45%, which matches the demands of its Indian customers in
particular. It invites visitors to see the energy saving processing of
fine-count twisted yarn, an area where the need for added value continues to
grow. 1) Space savings:
Machine width is 20% less than conventional machines. The new, intelligent
spinning frame design features a spindle pitch of 212 mm. 2)
Energy savings
Small-diameter spindles provide high-energy savings. Available in two sizes,
108 mm and 120 mm. 3) Operability and
versatility:
The machine comes equipped with the new-model monitor, allowing operators to
see number of twists, rotation speed and yarn length. Five types of spindle,
from small to large diameters, are available. Hall
