Compressed air dryers
Compressed air dryers are a must for pneumatic controlled tools and systems. If the compressed air is not dry there will be corrosion in compressed air pipeline, pneumatic tools and systems which will lead to their malfunctioning. In most cases refrigeration dryer are suitable for 40°C - 45°C ambient temperature. A major problem in compressed air systems is the presence of water, dust particles, oil (oils particles are introduced by lubricated air compressors) and solid contaminants, which can adversely affect air quality.
Hot Air Impingement Dryer
The US-based Glenro Inc’s new high velocity hot air impingement dryer is used to dry a waterbased silicone finish on a spunbonded polyester nonwoven web that is 210 inches wide. The gas-fired dryer system uses high velocity hot air impingement nozzles mounted beneath the product to apply hot air to the web at a right angle. Hot air impingement breaks through the boundary layer of air that surrounds the moving web and transfers heat to the product to vaporise liquids in the coating or finish.
GizmoCat for machine safety
Custom Logics Pvt Ltd offers GizmoCat – an ultrasound rat repellent for machines. Rats are a global menace to machines, capable of damaging wires and cables. Furthermore, rat’s wastes are acidic and corrosive and so lethal to PCBs and electronics. For the industrial sector especially manufacturing and assembly lines, rats ruin expensive and critical machinery, thus causing downtime and delivery rescheduling. Not only do they cause monetary loss but also reputations take a severe beating in such critical times.
Warping: Karl Mayer?s breakthrough
Karl Mayer has produced the first warp preparation machine for the warp knitting sector that can offer both: direct and sectional warping. The DS Opto-EC is an efficient machine with a broad portfolio.
A targeted look at different technologies with similar objectives often reveals synergistic effects that can be used to great advantage – as the example of the DS Opto-EC developed by KARL MAYER shows. This innovative warp preparation machine combines sectional warping in weaving preparation with direct warping in warp knitting preparation on the basis of a universal hybrid principle. The result of this clever combination is maximum flexibility and economic viability when producing warp beams for warp knitting.
