As representatives for Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) in the Lower Rhine textile and clothing region, CEO Ralf Hellmann and Dibella occupy leading positions on the www.csr.nrw.de website.

The company's commitment is reflected in a growing hotel linen collection certified according to GOTS and Fairtrade and this is manifested by the award ‘Made in Green by Oeko Tex’. CEO Ralf Hellmann also initiated various projects that positively influence the social and environmental conditions in the textile supply chain. To reinforce the effect, he gives his business partners the courage to actively participate in the process of responsible business practices.
Dibella’s active advocacy of corporate social responsibility has now been acknowledged by the Ministry of Economy, Energy, Industry, SMEs and Crafts of North Rhine-Westphalia. The government office presented the company on its own www.csr.nrw.de website as one of the first CSR competence centres of the Lower Rhine textile and clothing region. Ralf Hellmann received the title of CSR ambassador for his exemplary corporate culture.
More influence on sustainable procurement
"Our nomination gives us the opportunity to promote and challenge public institutions in North Rhine-Westphalia to commit to sustainable procurement," says Ralf Hellmann. They are cited as verification of responsible textiles in the ‘Guidelines for sustainable textile procurement by the federal administration’.” In a lively exchange of information with the responsible authorities, Ralf Hellmann sees another opportunity to promote sustainable procurement in North Rhine-Westphalia. “We will continue to intensify the already existing contact with decision-makers and make the value-added chain transparent", explains Ralf Hellmann. “Candour towards our partners is integral to our corporate social responsibility.”
