Arvind’s new ready-to-wear brand
Arvind Ltd, one of the leading textile manufacturers in India, launched ready-to-wear menswear under the brand Arvind. The ready-to-wear brand will be launched across The Arvind Stores before branching out as a separate entity eventually to cater to the $10 billion market in the country.
“Arvind Ltd comes full circle with brand Arvind,” said Kulin Lalbhai, Executive Director, Arvind Ltd. The brand will offer garments that will cater to the requirement of the Indian men for his work, leisure and ceremonial requirements. The company expects to make brand Arvind a Rs 100 crore entity in the next three to four years.
The company will launch Arvind across 50 The Arvind Stores in Gujarat and Karnataka and eventually make it available across all 170 stores by the next season. The brand will be retailed online on nnnow.com. The collection is a seamless blend of Indian motifs, fabrics and western fashion and the company is even contemplating teaming up with certain indigenous handloom clusters for the label.
