DYECOWIN is a breakthrough in the long tube dyeing machine operating with a much lower running liquor ratio of up to 1:5. The production cost can much be saved. The patented fluid distributor at the rear of the machine can adjust the distribution of dyeing solution according to different fabric types and ensuring an organized fabric stacking pattern.
The rollerless design overcame the tangling problem with conventional dyeing machines. SUPERWIN is more than an ordinary dyeing machine running adopts single I-O flow. The revolutionary wave dyeing technology and intelligent control reduce the liquor ratio close to 1:3. SUPERWIN empowers your production to the leading edge of efficiency and eco-friendliness.
Low liquor ratio: During a single inside-out flow process, dye liquor discharged from the pump enters the carrier and passes through the spindles, then reaches the packages and diffuses outwards. Only a sufficient water level is required at the kier bottom to maintain steady pump pressure and it is not necessary to have all packages fully immersed with liquor, hence lower liquor ratio is achieved.
Innovative wave dyeing technology: By executing a specific period of change in pump frequency, smashing the packages like waves such that it could move under differentiating pressure would lead to perfect utilisation of the advantage of dual flow concept, but in a much lower demand of water and electricity.

SYN 8 SUPER – The most advanced aerodynamic high temperature dyeing machine.

The newly-designed GOLLER washing compartment – SINTENSA CYCLONE TANDEM can reduce fabric’s running tension by means of the following two points.

The optimised fabric’s running route and the increased cladding intensity of the driven rollers and driven drums can keep the speed of the running fabric in accord with the speed of driven rollers and driven drums, stabilise the processing conditions for fabric in the washing compartment and enhance the accuracy of synchronisation so as to facilitate the minimisation the running tension of fabric.

The rationale behind is that when the range is running, the rotor can rotates at different speeds under liquor and the high-speed water stirring of rotor can result in low pressure and thus achieving the suction effect of the running fabric. SETEX makes Industry 4.0 a definite possibility

Many companies have introduced since years an ERP-software for data management.
On the production floor level, machines and controls became powerful and have been connected to a supervisor software. Nonetheless the optimisation of the production processes require a lot of time and cost with traditional systems.
The new SETEX OrgaTEX X1 system provides entire new possibilities to realise an efficient digital workflow. After three years of development and more than 25,000 lines of source code – comparable to the words in two books of Harry Potter – three modules form the new integral role that manage, predict and analyse processes and production recipes. The root-data management deals with all kind of information-types and attributes used in modern textile enterprises, including maintenance, energy or efficiency information. The aim is to allow interoperability with highly specialised systems throughout the production chain.

Smooth running of every mill operation
With the data from the Total Testing Center Assistant Q has an overview of all the processes in the spinning mill. He examines test data from every production stage, alerting management to any potential issues. He directs alerts to the personnel responsible via their PCs (and in future to mobile devices) and also manages the process of solving the problem. He records when messages are acknowledged and tracks the history of the issue to its resolution.
Data analysis and fabric predictions
This new staff member takes in all the test results and provides fast analysis and interpretation. For example, he might identify changes at the carding process leading to a lower nep removal efficiency. In that case, he would immediately report the issue to the relevant operator.
Assistant Q supports to prevent against negative feedback from buyers about unsatisfactory yarn quality for weaving and knitting applications. He evaluates fabric appearance, using a series of parameters and a grading system of 1 to 5. Yarns graded 5 are expected to be top of their class in fabric appearance. His vast application knowledge and years of sample testing underpin this grading system. He also makes reliable predictions for knitted fabrics, where pilling is a key issue. His grading here is based on the new hairiness values provided by the USTER® TESTER 6 – as well as other parameters affecting pilling resistance.

At ITMA Asia + CITME 2016 in Shanghai Reiners + Fürst will present new travellers for Siro-Compact with optimssed geometry and new surface characteristics. The end-users benefit from low yarn hairiness and longer traveller service life.
Customers in China prefer the latest generation of TURBO rings especially for Compact and Siro yarns. During ITMA in Milan R+F introduced this further milestone in high speed spinning. Already more than 2.5 million units are running successfully in the markets. The enhanced surface allows increasing machine efficiencies by up to 10 per cent – especially when producing yarns of sensitive fibres or with highest spindle speeds.
For worsted spinning R+F introduces J-travellers for ring heights of 9.1 and 11.1 mm with enhanced surface for better performance of the spinning process. Different shapes are available for top results in the whole range of worsted spinning.

Roll Temperature Surface Measurement Device
RETECH presented its newest development in the field of temperature measuring for first time at Itma 2015 in Milano. A service tool, developed for its engineers, became in reality a customer demand. This device is now available and is now also approved in production sites from its customers.
How precise is the roll surface temperature? How accurate from godet to godet?
These questions can be answered and measured by using this new device from RETECH.
Up to 4 measuring points can register the exact roll surface temperature within 1 to 2 seconds. The measured values for each godet and machine are stored and indicated in the hand held operating panel. They can be transferred to the customer’s supervision software via USB connection.
It is a convenient small maintenance tool, which offers continuous and repeatable information to assure final yarn quality and not only for Retech godets.
New Temperature Transmitter: Another new development presented at Itma in Milano is now proved in different applications at production condition. Not only in its own Retech godet as well as in other brands godets as substitution achieve a better temperature transmission.
New UTR-4A Temperature Transmitter, Rotor, Stator and PT100 Fork: Retech supplies not only the heated godet but also the required temperature transmitter for 1 to 6 individual heating zones. This can be combined with UCR controller or USC signal converters. The new innovative temperature transmitter, which replaces the proven and successful UTR-4, has been miniaturised as far as possible and is completely sealed (no connections in the hot part of the roll). It has many applications in the field of textiles and elsewhere. It goes without saying that RETECH is also offering this feature for upgrading and modifications of existing heated godets.
Heated godet rolls: For many years the godets have been and will be the leading product range of Retech.
Heated godet with 4 Heating Zones and Rotating Temperature Sensor: Retech’s attention turned always to optimise heating and motor capacity in order to save energy. The whole power of new innovation leads to fulfill this credo and therefore to the optimised godet. To define the right and best suited godet a close collaboration between customer and equipment designer is very important. There is no such thing as an “off the shelf” godet. Based on the permanent synchronous magnet motor (PSM) concept there are three main sizes of motors, available in different performance categories.
Together with the customer, RETECH engineers will elaborate all options required for the specific process. Whether process requirements call for one-zone or multi-zone heating, or specifically high drawing speeds is not a problem, RETECH godets are capable of up to 6000 m/min with temperatures up to 400°C. All godets are based on the same modular concept and are available as well with their own bearing and housings for use in very low speed application or centrally driven with a belt drive for multiple godet rolls.
Air Bearing Separator Rolls (ABSR)
Separator Rolls are an important addition to Retech component family. RETECH is focusing on a larger range of Air Bearing Separator Rolls (ABSR). Numerous ABSR’s are in operation in polymer plants all around the world. Using a very advanced technology proprietary to RETECH, it has been possible to reduce the air consumption on our latest version ABSR by one third. This economical solution is furthermore paired with lower wear and tear of this component. ABSR now available in new dimensions: New dimensions such as Ø 36 x 110 mm and Ø 58 x 125 mm used mainly as guiding rolls have been added to the product range.
Online Monitoring System: RETECH can improve your process and product quality by means of their on-line tension control Win OLT. RETECH has further developed the well-known Win OLT which is a yarn tension measuring system that continuously monitors yarn tension, records yarn breaks, calculates downtimes and provides machine efficiency and quality data. It has been specially optimised for DTY processes.
RETECH supplies the tension sensor either as a stand-alone standard component with now 4 standard measuring ranges, or as a complete QA system, depending on the requirements. It is called the Win-OLT system. A special development focus was the enlargement of the data evaluation, called Win –Eval, which offers a huge information base for plant managers to optimise the efficiency of their machines. Statistics per shift, day or over a defined time period can be evaluated. Quality control in many stages of the textile process can be covered by Win-OLT at the same time setting the industry standard for high quality and optimised production.

This stands not only for the noted green colour of DORNIER weaving machines but also the ‘sustainable effect’ of fabrics produced on these machines. The new P2 type TGV combines the reliability of the previous P1 PTV model with the future-oriented modular P2 machine concept. Apart from that, DORNIER will show an airjet weaving machine of the latest generation A1 type AWS. An air-jet weaving machine in Jacquard version can be seen on Stäubli’s exhibition stand. DORNIER rapier weaving machine P2 type TGV 4/S G 20
The latest rapier weaving machine P2 type TGV is a further development of the DORNIER weaving machine generation with positive central transfer, the same as the new P2 type TGS presented at the ITMA 2015. It replaces the proven P1 PTV and stands for a new machine concept focused on the future.
With a reed impact of 3.7 tons, a special reinforced cloth take-up in sturdy design and absolute filling insertion evenness, the new weaving machine generation shows its technical superiority, especially when producing high density filter fabrics. The fabrics produced maintain constant mesh counts per cm2 and are therefore completely homogeneous. This, together with the density, is a basic demand on a high-quality filter fabric which the P2 manufactures in heavy duty design at the ITMA Asia.
The DORNIER SyncroDrive® is the basis to control the warp tensions created by the 3.7 tons reed impact (monitored and limited to protect the machine).
The latest rapier weaving machine type TGV provides, as real “green machine”, the Chinese and Asian weavers with the option to produce the highest quality in the growing market for filter fabrics, e.g. for wet, liquid and solid material filtration or for soot particle separation and much more. In addition to productivity, sturdiness and reliability, DORNIER weaving machines are sustainable because they have an average service life of several decades. The platform strategy and modular concept of the DORNIER weaving machine system family, together with the worldwide support that even 30-year-old DORNIER machines receive reliably, make this possible. DORNIER air-jet weaving machine A1 type AWS 6/S G16
This A1 air-jet weaving machine of the latest generation produces a suit fabric made of high-quality wool at the ITMA Asia + CITME as used by worldwide leading fashion houses for the menswear sector.
Special highlight: The suit fabric with a yarn from Südwolle Group, of Chinese production and designed by the Chinese Shandong Ruyi, is already being produced in China on DORNIER weaving machines.
The demands of the Chinese consumer-oriented middle class for high-quality clothing have risen strongly over the last years. Various studies prophecy that this trend will grow further. This opens up large opportunities for Chinese weavers to produce superior quality for the clothing market and to be successful in this segment.
The special challenge here is to produce a fabric with this quality whilst meeting the most demanding requirements with high productivity. The DORNIER air-jet weaving machine achieves this with a gentle filling insertion (senza pelosità, i.e. no fabric hairiness) combined with automatic filling break clearance. But DORNIER would not be DORNIER if productivity and quality were not continuously driven on. In industrial use, this has already been successful in the unique DORNIER quality by prominent Italian wool weavers with a speed of up to 1,000 rpm.
The heart of the DORNIER weave-by-wire technology is the patented drive concept DORNIER SyncroDrive®.
It is a very low maintenance weaving machine drive based on servomotors without clutch-brake unit. The close of shed is adjustable electronically during weaving via DORNIER ErgoWeave®, style data are archived and therefore reproducible.
The newly developed nozzle concept that allows a gentle acceleration of the filling thread and the high-performance carbon shafts further more reduce vibrations during shedding.
DORNIER air-jet weaving machine A1 type AWS 4/J G
At the Stäubli stand, an air-jet weaving machine type A1 produces an airbag fabric one piece woven as a hollow body. This very special demand is mastered optimally by the Jacquard weaving machine with its very high flexibility. About 12,228 lifting hooks are used here. The machine has the patented DORNIER SyncroDrive® fitted as standard.
During Jacquard weaving with the DORNIER SyncroDrive®, the weaving machine and Jacquard machine have separate drives and servomotors whereby the cardan shaft is not required. The connection runs via an electronic shaft. The very rigid and low vibration drive concept reduces the mechanical load as well as wear in the complete shedding area. The forces acting on the system as well as the energy consumption are drastically reduced.
This type of airbag with small packing size is used, for example, as protection against side impacts. Protection of limb and life are the most important aspects of sustainability. A lot more can be done for passenger protection in lower and middle class vehicles, even in Europe and the US. This is the reason why airbags remain a growth market, especially for the Asian market. Here, the A1 in Jacquard version with its high productivity and extreme process reliability offers optimum possibilities. Airbags of top-quality are produced in series while meeting economic and ecological criteria.
The patented DORNIER SyncroDrive® is a particularly low maintenance drive. The basis are servomotors with direct controlling but without a clutch-brake unit. This drive concept permits to change the close of shed timepoint during weaving. The German textile machinery producer BRÜCKNER shows on this year’s ITMA Asia in Shanghai their orientation towards their customers and the future. The company presents mainly new developments and products concerning the sector of woven fabrics.
Since almost 70 years the family-owned company is one of the leading producers of textile finishing lines. BRÜCKNER supplies consulting services and lines for almost all purposes in the field of textiles, technical textiles, nonwovens or floor coverings. Highest quality, high efficiency and long service life of the machines as well as a close cooperation with the customer are the most important factors of success.
BRÜCKNER offers among other things sanforising lines, continuous dyeing lines, infrared dryers, relaxation dryers, compactors and stenters for coating, drying and heat-setting. The rubber belt compacting line allows the sanforising and compacting of very different types of woven fabrics. Finishing on a sanforising line gives the fabric a more stable structure, a silky shine, a smooth hand and minimum residual shrinkage values. Typical end products are fabric for shirts and trousers, jeans, bed linen, working clothes, home textiles or upholstery material. POWER-COLORTHERM continuous dyeing line
With a continuous dyeing line by BRÜCKNER the customers will achieve uniform and reproducible dyeing results. The lines ensure a crease-free fabric flow without shading and migration. The symmetrical structure of the air circulation zones prevents a different shade on the two fabric sides. In addition the installed power is adapted to the low air flows required for dye drying which leads to a considerably lower energy consumption. Typical end products dyed on BRÜCKNER lines are fabrics for shirts and trousers, working clothes and home textiles.
Continuous research and development efforts have made BRÜCKNER machines today even more efficient and increased their service life and support the customers in minimising their ecological footprint. Only one example: an indirect gas heating system has been developed particularly for the finishing of knitted fabric, which saves in combination with a special heat-recovery system energy and prevents the yellowing of the fabric. This is of particular importance in case of sensitive fabric containing elastane. If a company does not want to invest in a completely new line, BRÜCKNER offers a modification of the heating system for example from oil to indirect gas heating.
And BRÜCKNER developed a new minimum application unit. This application unit works with a minimum liquor tank of approx. 2.5 l for each m of working width. The minimum application quantities require in the following processes (for example drying or curing) clearly less water evaporation which has a positive effect on the energy requirement at the respective dryer. In addition there is no waste or prodigality of chemicals and no expensive disposal is required since the contents of the liquor tank can be used almost completely.
BRÜCKNER offers regarding the question of energy efficiency also the possibility of retrofitting for example a heat-recovery or exhaust air cleaning system. These systems can be retrofitted without problems also to machines made by other producers and help to safe energy and to reduce the environmental impact.

Schlafhorst and Zinser
Zinser will present at ITMA ASIA 2016 future-oriented strategies for personnel-free, process-oriented and highly efficient production. With the Autoflow automation solution, ZinserSpeed 5A roving frame as well as Zinser 72 and 71 systems, the textile machinery manufacturer paves the way to a more profitable future for its customers.
The new ZinserSpeed 5A consumes 20 per cent less energy. The Zinser 72 with 2,016 spindles is the longest and most economical platform for ring and compact spinning whose innovative suction technology consumes up to 66 per cent less energy. The Impact FX self-cleaning compact unit for the Zinser 71 and Zinser 72 eliminates personnel-intensive cleaning intervals.
Zinser will also be demonstrating how flexibly the Zinser 71 and 72 can be integrated into Autoflow systems. More growth and return on investment from an automated process chain – Zinser makes it possible.
The Autoconer 6 is the final piece in the jigsaw for completing the textile technological value creation in the spinning and winding processes of Zinser and Schlafhorst. With its smart sensor technology, it is ideally equipped to deliver perfect, individually automated processes. Innovations such as Launch-Control, SmartCycle, SmartJet and Speedster FX boost productivity by up to 12 per cent compared with previous models. The new Eco-Drum-Drive system, SmartCycle and the intelligent vacuum control system “Power on demand” reduce energy consumption on the Autoconer 6 by up to 20 per cent. The ma- chine maintains its considerable technological lead in value creation, with the Autoconer package remaining the benchmark for quality and added value in downstream processing.
Rotor spinning machines from Schlafhorst
The new Autocoro 9 with its individual spinning position technology sets new records for energy con- sumption, productivity, economic efficiency, ease of operation and quality in the fully automated machine segment. It is a strong driver of optimised textile value creation in the textile process chain: 25 per cent lower energy consumption, 19 per cent reduction in spinning costs, proven rotor speeds of 180,000 rpm, take-up speeds of 300 m/min and a 60 per cent lower servicing outlay are just some of its outstanding performance features.
The semi-automatic BD product series is also in a league of its own, It produces extremely economical packages in Autocoro quality up to 320 mm in diameter. Up to 10 per cent less energy consumption, extremely fast take-up speeds of 230 m/min on all lengths of machine and improved use of available space reduce spinning costs and increase the profitability of spinning mills in the semi-automatic segment.
Plant Operation Center
Spinning mills with the Plant Operation Center (POC) from Saurer Schlafhorst and Zinser use their production and quality data to improve efficiency. For example, with the Off-Standard Analysis system they are able to optimise maintenance intervals and increase productivity and yarn quality thanks to perfectly timed interventions.

CompactTwister sets new standards
With the CompactTwister we are presenting our high-performance twisting machine for staple fibre yarns, which has been awarded the E³ label for triple added value. Energy savings of up to 40 per cent can be achieved with the eco-drive concept and eco-spindle technology with coordinated spindle combinations. The systematically integrated HD feeds set new standards in energy savings and optimised feed weights for efficient downstream processing. The productivity of the CompactTwister is 30 per cent higher thanks to high delivery speeds of up to 120 m/min. Operating costs drop as a result of lower energy, space and maintenance costs.
With its future-oriented technology, the CableCorder CC4 cabling machine, which has been awarded the Saurer E³ label, offers energy savings of up to 50 per cent in the tyre cord cabling process. Since energy represents by far the most significant cost factor in the overall cabling process, this promises revolutionary production cost savings for manufacturers of tyre cord. The higher economic efficiency is also increased by up to 50 per cent fewer yarn breaks, improved quality and high machine efficiency. An innovative enhancement of the machine to the production of two-ply tyre cord is the option for producing also three-ply tyre cord in a single-stage process.
Saurer Embroidery presents its innovations at ITMA Asia in Shanghai. Saurer Embroidery is the world market leader in embroidery production systems. Here a wealth of experience extending back over many generations is coupled with up-to-date knowledge for the textile future.
In addition to energy savings of up to 5 per cent, our customers can benefit from a 20 per cent increase in productivity. The Epoca 7 achieves an embroidery speed of up to 700 rpm, and is therefore up to 18 per cent faster than the previous generation. Apart from an increase in production speed, additional functions have been optimised and improved to achieve an overall performance increase of up to 20 per cent.
Innovative solutions lead to unparalleled adjustment options and top quality production at the touch of a button. This is guaranteed by new technologies on the needle side, such as individual thread guide activation, the newly developed thread delivery and the flat yarn path with gentle yarn treatment. The new electronic thread monitors detect yarn breaks more quickly and more precisely. The new precise thread cut ensures trouble-free production of high-quality embroidery.
The new enhanced Headline System will be presented at ITMA Asia for the first time. It is a complete system with different electronically powered application heads for cords, ribbons and various sequins. The HeadLine System captivates through its precision even at top production speeds. Furthermore, it allows the operator to quickly and easily interchange and individually position each application head. The ergonomic lift system provides an optimal view of the embroidery area and gives unobstructed access to the entire embroidery height.
The business unit Saurer Components presents at ITMA ASIA reasoned solutions for staple and manmade fibres. Accotex® AccoSmart the new sandwich cot based upon a completely new revolutionary technology platform. A development found on two individual tailormade high quality elastomer layers; a softer inner layer and a harder outer layer. A larger contact area compared to conventional soft rubber cots results in an improved and stable yarn quality over the lifetime of the cot. Accosmart cots ensure long lifetime with less maintenance, less machine breakdowns and reduced costs.
Texparts® PK2600 Series
Texparts PK 2630 SE and PK 2630 SHE weighting arms are designed to be retrofittable with the two compact systems of well-known suppliers. The front roller load can be set optimally and fully independently from the nip roller load which provides no interference between nip and front top roller.
Texparts compact systems are used on standard weighting arms with no loss in the lapping reserve. Engineered to fit on almost all machine types benefit spinners worldwide from all proven PK 2600 series features and consequently improved yarn quality.
Daytex® Shrinkage Belts leading for more than 50 years are engineered to produce the best quality for all different shrinkage applications. Crack resistance under heavy loads, outstanding heat and chemical resistance, which results in exceptional long life for all fabric types are main features of Day-tex Shrinkage belts. The unique homogeneous belt structure provides constant shrinkage results during the entire product lifetime, and a ‘Curved Edge’ minimising the risk of edge cracking and improves the belt performance further.
Daytex uses 100 per cent pure first-rate natural rubber from carefully selected plantations for a constant product quality. Fibrevison® Fraytec FV2 broken filament monitoring boasts increased trigger optics with software selection of fault size. The broken filament faults are measured with fault size options available for 3 mm, 4.5 mm and 6 mm from the yarn. Further features are improved noise immunity and connectors, central optic for denier variation and interlace measurement, integration with Fraycam 2 and FV2 is capable of handling up to 12-end winders.
The latest high speed roller-bearing Separator Roller Temco® VR50300-00-HS designed to replace air bearing separator rollers and therefore save high compressed air costs. Integrated bearings in hybrid technology lower the starting torque and frictional torque in operating speed in comparison to air bearing separator rollers known for their low friction.
The VR50300-00-HS, which stands for high speed, can be applied for a wide variety of spinning processes, and in the Hotbox with a max. yarn temperature of 190°C and a maximum yarn speed of 5,500 m/min.
Suessen targets optimal yarn quality & high productivity
At ITMA Asia, Shanghai, Suessen will exhibit various new components for ring and rotor spinning machines. All innovations are aiming for optimal yarn quality and high productivity, while costs are reduced at the same time. In ring spinning one of the highlights will be the EliTe®CompactSet Advanced, a compact spinning system, which can be installed on nearly all types of ring spinning machines. The system includes various innovations resulting in better yarn quality and increased productivity. A typical example is the “flip-over technology”: as the fibre path within the drafting system is off-centred, the use of top roller cots and aprons can be doubled. The main goal of this and the other innovations is increasing lifetime of the components and reducing maintenance costs. The EliTe®CompactSet can be equipped with the optional EliTwist® enabling the production of compact two-ply yarn on ring spinning machines. EliTwist® is highly suitable to spin two-ply core yarns. Suessen will also present various new Premium Parts for rotor spinning machines. The new TwistTrap Navel is a modified navel with a patented twist-retaining element. The navel, which is applicable to all types of spinboxes, provides an additional false twist, which results in better spinning stability. The production increases by 10 per cent to 15 per cent due to the possible twist reduction. Another new Premium Part is the PS7 TwinDisc.
Novibra spindles & clamping crowns
Novibra, the leading company in spindle technology and the biggest exporter of spindles worldwide, will present several innovative solutions for spinning mills at ITMA Asia in Shanghai.
Spindles in modern ring spinning machines reach speeds of up to 25,000 rpm. In these high-speed applications energy consumption is an important issue. Novibra is now introducing the new LENA (Low Energy consumption and Noise Absorption) high-speed spindles. LENA design has been developed from well-proven Noise Absorbing System Assembly (NASA), which ensures minimum neck bearing load, vibration and noise level at high speed. The unique wharve diameter of 17,5 mm and the footstep bearing diameter of 3 mm lead to a lower energy consumption. LENA is designed for tube lengths up to 200-210 mm. Another new product presented at ITMA Asia is the clamping and cutting crown CROCOdoff, which is also available as the version CROCOdoff Forte for coarse yarns. The crown is operated by the spindle speed and has been designed for machines with autodoffer. The improved design of the ‘teeth’ guarantees a reliable clamping and cutting of the yarn. In addition, the CROCOdoff reduces the risk of yarn breakage during start-up, decreases energy consumption, minimises material loss and reduces maintenance. CROCOdoff is suitable for the use with new machines as well as an upgrade for existing machines.
Bräcker travellers for challenging conditions
Bräcker the specialist for key components in ring spinning machines, which is part of Rieter Premium Textile Components, will present a variety of new products at ITMA Asia 2016 in Shanghai. The company will demonstrate the ability, to generate additional customer value, by utilising its expertise in ring spinning.
The new STARLETplus traveller from Bräcker with its improved coating shows a better resistance against corrosion. This is of high importance in challenging spinning conditions like high humidity or aggressive fibres. As a result the service life can be extended up to 50 per cent. These travellers, which are suited for the entire yarn count range, are especially recommended for viscose, CO/CV blends, PES, and dyed fibres. During the entire service life the yarn quality values remain constant.
Another highlight will be the redORBIT spinning rings, which are designed to produce high quality yarns at top speeds. The system consisting of spinning ring, ring holder, and support ring is a cost-optimised solution for ring spinning machines. It allows increased speed and thereby a higher production. There is no thermal damage when processing synthetic fibres, because of the optimised heat conduction between traveller and ring. The rings offer a ring spinning solution with optimal performance ratio.
Other products, which Bräcker will present at ITMA Asia, will include TITAN spinning rings, PYRIT and ZIRKON travellers, and a range of BERKOL cots and aprons.
Graf: Competence in man-made fibre
The company Graf, located in Rapperswil near Zurich, is the leading manufacturer of clothings for flat cards and roller cards. Graf will introduce several innovative solutions for the processing of man-made fibers at ITMA in Shanghai.
Flexible flat clothings are one of the key components in a carding machine. To ensure an evenly high quality of the carding sliver, they have to be replaced regularly. For this process the card needs to be stopped. To keep these down-times as short as possible, Graf now offers a new flat top system, which can reduce the stoppage time by up to 70 per cent. The so-called EasyTop is applied on flat bars designed for magnetic attachment. The flat tops, equipped with a metal carrier, are attached securely and precisely by means of a magnetic connection. They resist even highest carding forces and guarantee for a high reliability in operation. EasyTop system can be used for aluminium flat bars with magnetic attachment technology from all manufacturers. EasyTop are available for working widths of 40“, 51” and 60” in a selection from the well-known and proven types of flat clothings for man-made fibers, the so-called InLine-X and RSTO series, each in the ‘M’-version.
Hipro metallic wire
Thanks to innovative geometry, excellent material and first-class processing, Hipro metallic card clothings ensure top performance and precision together with an exceptionally long working life. Hipro metallic card clothings are suitable for all standard man-made fibres in the nonwoven sector and also for wool. They can be used on the following rollers: doffer, worker, stripper and condenser rollers. These excellent, robust clothings are available with normal profile and as interlinked clothings.
Graf will also present new products for the combing process. The X-Comb segments can be used on comb-bodies requiring individual segments from other manufacturers and thus now make the leading Graf technology also accessible for these conventional combs. The combing segments are made from metallic clothings that undergo a special surface treatment, which substantially reduces the running-in period.
Weaving solutions from Van De Wiele

As leading textile machinery, Van De Wiele will present machinery and technology for its four application areas: flooring, home textiles, apparel and technical textiles. Following brands will be present:
After the successful introduction of the Si with many hundreds of references, Bonas will introduce during ITMA Asia the ‘Ji’ Range. Ji is available in formats from 1,920 hooks till 5,760 hooks and is the most compact machine on the market. A 4800 hooks weaving furniture fabric installed on a double width loom. This machine has a dwell build-in allowing a longer insertion time and a smaller shed.
Most wide looms require these possibilities as it gives less weft stops and a higher quality fabric. The second Ji is equipped with 2,688 hooks and is producing terry towels. Here we emphasise on the high performance, in a dusty cotton environment. Bonas shows hereby his leadership in the terry field.
The third Ji will produce high-quality labels with 2,304 hooks, this showing a wide spread of applications for this range. Due to the small dimensions, Ji is very suitable for label weaving and direct mounting Ji is designed in Europe with the focus on the Chinese market where higher productivity requirements are requested to create a high added value. Ji is maintenance-free and equipped with the latest filter technology.
Also, a Si with 7,440 hooks, single end with a Bonas harness will be on display, running at an incredible high speed of 850 rpm on an airjet loom.
All machines are linked with the new ‘Ci’ Bonas controller. The Bonas jacquards at the exhibition are equipped with in-house designed and produced harnesses.
Carpet production machinery
Van De Wiele offers its customers complete carpets solutions, from granulate to carpet. The portfolio contains: BCF extrusion lines, heat-setting machines, tufting machines and carpet weaving machines. The synergy of competences in these different fields not only leads to technical important breakthroughs, but is mainly in the benefit of the customer. Presentations will be shown about:
The BXE: BCF extrusion line for carpet yarns. This extrusion line produces yarn from different polymers with the highest bulk on the market, thanks to a newly developed multiwrap texturing device without lamellas. The short melt pipe between the extruder and the spinning beam and the round self-sealing spin packs, which are easy to install, are very much appreciated in the market.
Superba worldleader in heat-setting lines. Superba
has developed a unique and performing heat-setting system based on saturated steam. With 40 years of experience in the highly specialized field of yarns for tufted and woven carpet, Superba is providing advanced and competitive solutions with a complete range of machines, including space dyeing machines.
The Van De Wiele-Cobble tufting machines will present the Myriad and TuftFX machines: each pile yarns goes over a separate roll, controlled by a servomotor, this over the complete width of the machine without any repeat. The servomotor controls the tension in the yarns, creating patterns in the carpet. A cut loop system and sliding needle bars has now been introduced to further extend the design possibilities.
Myriad tufted carpet design
The RCE02 Rug & Carpet Expert carpet weaving machine: the newest generation of double rapier face-to-face carpet weaving machines: equipped with a new Jacquard machine and smart frames. This allows weaving carpet qualities, which were not possible before like combinations of cut pile, flat weave, double flat weave, double points, filling effects... The Jacquard uses a new selector, so compact that it uses less then half of the space of the previous generation.
RCE Rug & Carpet Expert Carpet machine
Axminster carpet weaving: A particular successful machine of Van de Wiele in the Chinese market is the MAX91: the axminster carpet weaving machine, combining high productivity with superior carpet quality. In combination with the state of the art Smart Creel a very efficient manufacturing unit can be realized producing samples in combination with large production orders.
