Established in 2007, Sakthi Textile Engineers is promoted and run by a team of dedicated qualified engineers who has a decade of manufacturing and development experience in engineering-based spinning industry. The manufacturing unit is equipped with most advanced CNC machinery and systems to maintain high precision standards of the products.
A Sundararajan, Managing Partner, Sakthi Textile Engineers, speaks on various new product launches of the company in such a short span.
How has your company been doing in the last few years -- in terms of new product and technology launches?
Sakthi the name has been trusted in textile spinning mills for its products like top rollers and for all types of draw frames, combers, lap formers and ring frames and speed frames. It is a fast growing firm who are also exporting its products to countries like Indonesia, Bangladesh, Thailand, Egypt and Turkey through reputed dealer network. The company also sells its top roller Arbours to OEM ring frame and worsted frame manufacturers in India.
We are making our Sakthi top roller as replacement spare in the market against reliable alternate for any OEM. Hence we develop our product to match the OEM quality in every respect. Sakthi top rollers are being manufactured more than a decade and number of varieties in top roller is getting added based on the demand and as of now around 90 variants in top roller is in our product range. Time to time, we are upgrading our technological requirements.
Can you give us the USP of some of your important machines and products for the textile industry? How has been market that you have been serving doing in the past and currently?
Sakthi always stands for consistency in quality, cost effectiveness and committed results to the customers.
We are having the basic infrastructure to manufacture the top rollers and tie-up with experienced reliable vendors to support bringing out the finished product with uncompromised quality. We believe in long-term association with our vendor as well as our dealers and customers. We wish the growth of our associates also along with us.
If in export, which are your major markets? What is the scope in these markets in the near future?
We have been doing good amount of overseas biz for past few years and the also getting shrunk due to unhealthy competition are also exporting their products to various countries like Indonesia, Bangladesh, Thailand, Egypt and Turkey through reputed dealer network.
Are you planning any new launches, including expansion and diversification? Please give some details.
We have a good R&D centre and making many initiatives for supporting textile mills with more quality and performance. Our focus to make more market penetration since the market is very competitive and then we plan for new product launches in the years to come.
What are your views on the recent Government?s proposals to boost the textile and clothing industry? What is your vision of textile industry by 2020?
Textile market is not up to its best due to the rate fluctuations of raw materials like cotton. We feel that
the Government should involve to maintain the raw material (cotton) price uniform as much as possible throughout the year. Till the human need cloth no fall for textile industry. We hope the demand for the yarn and garments will be increased and by 2020 the industry will be improved.
What is your wish-list for the textile industry and Govt with a view to give a fresh impetus to the industry?
Consistent raw material price, uninterrupted power supply, unique taxing policy and concessional funding support to the textile industry.
