Dr Constable is ICAC Researcher of the Year
Dr Greg A Constable of Australia has won the ICAC Researcher of the Year Award for 2015. The International Cotton Advisory Committee (ICAC) started an annual award “ICAC Cotton Researcher of the Year” in 2009. The award is intended to raise the importance of research to the improvement of the cotton industry and to provide international recognition of exceptional achievements. Dr Constable holds a Bachelor of Agricultural Science and a Masters of Agricultural Science from the University of Sydney, and a PhD from the Australian National University, Canberra. His 46-year career in cotton research has focused on the application of agricultural science in the field, employed for the majority of that time by CSIRO, Australia’s major science organisation.
