Kornit Digital, a worldwide market leader in digital textile printing, has appointed Arrow Digital as a distributor, in addition to ICC International Agencies, for its direct-to-garment product line in India. The agreement includes distribution of Kornit’s direct-to-garment systems, inks and consumables, spare parts, upgrades and other products.
Under the agreement, Arrow Digital, which distributes a range of materials and equipment for the digital printing and cutting markets, will also become the provider of service and application support in the covered regions.
“With Arrow Digital as our distributor, we are going to drastically increase our presence amongst the major digital printing businesses in India,” said Buck Kim, President of Kornit Digital Asia Pacific. “Our goal is to continuously improve our customers’ experience in every aspect. Expanding our network of sales and support personnel and being close to where our customers are located is a key initiative towards achieving that.”
“Kornit’s portfolio of direct-to-garment products is the perfect fit for our aggressive grow strategy in the digital textile market. The Indian garment industry is looking at mass customisation and is ready to move from screen to digital, as skilled labour markets get tighter. Green technologies, better quality and on-demand short runs are now the trend. Social media and e-commerce contribute to the demand for digital technologies. We are ready to take the direct-to-garment market to the next level, combining our support and expertise with Kornit’s cutting-edge technology for this segment,” said Arrow Digital CEO Sam Patel.
