SRTEPC honours RIL with 5 gold trophies
The Synthetic & Rayon Textile Export Promotion Council (SRTEPC), one of the oldest export promotion councils in India, has conferred Reliance Industries (RIL) with a series of awards for its exceptional performance in exports of fibres and yarns. Egypt’s hometex exports up 4.8% in 2017
Exports of home textiles from Egypt increased 4.8 per cent year-on-year in January-November 2017. Exports during the eleven-month period were valued at $664 million, as against $443 million registered in the same period last year, according to the Egyptian Home Textiles Export Council (HTEC), under the ministry of foreign trade and industry.

NSDC trains 1,000 textile workers in TN
The National Skill Development Council (NSDC) has trained 1,000 workers from across various mills in Tamil Nadu. The workers who completed training in last two months received certificates at a job mela oganised by the Indian Texpreneurs Federation (ITF).
