TT in 30 Power Brand 2018 list
In a glittering ceremony held on March 5, 2018 in Mumbai, Brand TT was recognised as amongst the “Most Desirable 30 Brands 2018” and conferred Power Brand Status. Sanjay K Jain, Managing Director, TT Ltd, received the prestigious trophy and certificate from Bollywood superstars Vidya Balan and Mousumi Chatterjee.
Apparel exports increase in Nov

Nigeria imports textiles worth $4 bn
Nigeria currently spends over $4 billion annually on importing textiles and readymade clothing, despite the Nigerian government’s initiatives to revive the textile sector in recent times, according to the Director General (DG) of Nigerian Textile Manufacturers Association (NTMA), Hamma Kwajaffa. Textiles is Nigeria’s second largest employer after the government.
ASEAN to become ´world´s factory´ in a decade
Rising labour costs, among other reasons, have driven Chinese manufacturers to set up operations in Southeast Asian countries. A study by ANZ Bank economists suggest that Southeast Asia would take over from China to become the ´world´s factory´ in the next 10-15 years, citing its youthful workforce and strategic location as catalysts for this shift.
